Air bersih merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok hidup sehari- hari. Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir sampah yang tidak terdekomposisi dengan baik akan menghasilkan gas dengan cairan yang dikenal dengan istilah air lindi, yang akhirnya sumber-sumber air tanah disekitar TPA akan tercemar. Rumusan masalah adalah bagaimana kualitas fisika dan kimia air pada air sumur masyarakat di sekitar UPT TPA Regional Talumelito serta apakah memenuhi syarat sesuai dengan baku mutu yang telah ditetapkan?. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kualitas air sumur masyarakat di sekitar UPT TPA Regional Talumelito Kecamatan Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo. Jenis Penelitian adalah analisis deskriptif. Sampel air diambil dari 6 sumur di Dusun I dan II di sekitar TPA, setiap titik diambil 2 sampel sehingga jumlah sampel keseluruhan adalah 12 sampel. Sampel air kemudian dianalisis di Laboratorium Kesehatan Lingkungan Dinas Kesehatan Kota Gorontalo berdasarkan parameter fisika meliputi bau, rasa dan warna serta kimia meliputi pH. Hasil uji kemudian dibandingkan dengan standar baku mutu air bersih berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 32 tahun 2017.Hasil penelitian mendapatkan air sumur masyarakat di sekitar UPT TPA Regional Talumelito seluruhnya tidak berasa, sumur titik I berbau serta sumur titik I dan III berwarna, nilai ph rata-rata 6,9. 4 buah sumur memiliki nilai pH dalam rentang standar baku (6,5-8,5) dan 2 buah sumur memiliki nilai pH dengan tingkat asam tinggi yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai ph 6,05 pada titik I dan titik III dengan nilai pH rata-rata 6,23. Disarankan masyarakat sekitar TPA dapat mempergunakan saringan yang dibuat untuk membuat air lebih bersih dan layak dikonsumsi. Pada masyarakat pengguna sumur yang memiliki nilai pH dengan tingkat asam tinggi untuk tidak mengkonsumsinya

Clean water is one of the basic needs of everyday life. However, waste processing sites that are not properly decomposed will produce gas with a liquid known as leachate, which in turn will pollute groundwater sources around the landfill. The formulation of the problem is how is the physical and chemical quality of the water in the community well water around the Talumelito Regional Final Disposal Site Technival Implementation Unit (UPT TPA) and does it meet the requirements in accordance with predetermined quality standards. The aim of the study was to determine the quality of community well water around the Talumelito Regional UPT TPA, Telaga Biru Sub-district, Gorontalo Regency. This type of research is descriptive analysis. Water samples were taken from 6 wells in the first and second hamlet around the TPA, each with two samples, so the total number of samples was 12 samples. Water samples were then analyzed at the Gorontalo City Health Office Environmental Health Laboratory based on physical parameters, including smell, taste color and chemistry, including pH. The test results were then compared with the clean water quality standards based on Minister of Health Regulation Number 32 of 2017. The results of the study found that the community well water around the Talumelito Regional UPT TPA was entirely tasteless, the first point wells smelled, the first and the third point wells were colored, the pH value was average 6.9, four wells have a pH value within the standard range (6.5-8.5) and two wells contained a high acid level as indicated by a pH value of 6.05 at the first and third point with an average pH value of 6.23. Therefore, it is expected that the community around the tinal disposal site (TPA) is able to utilize water filters to make the water cleaner and healthier to consume and the people around the wells that contain a high acid level of pH value should not consume it.
