Abstrak
ABSTRAK
Amelia Denanda Putri Maula, 811416042, 2020. Hubungan Status Gizi dan Asupan Makanan dengan Kejadian Hipertensi Pada Wanita Menopause di Puskesmas Bulango Timur. Skripsi Jurusan Kesehatan Masyarakat, Fakultas Olahraga dan Kesehatan, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Dr. Sunarto Kadir, Drs., M.Kes dan Pembimbing II Lia Amalia S.KM., M.Kes.
Indonesia dalam fase dimana semakin meningkatnya frekuensi kejadian pada masyarakat yang menjadi pemicu terhadap penyakit tidak menular. Adapun prevalensi nasional hipertensi pada penduduk umur >18 tahun 2016 sebesar 32,4%, tahun 2017 menurun menjadi sebesar 30,9% sedangkan pada tahun 2018 meningkat menjadi sebesar 34,1%. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan status gizi dan asupan makanan dengan kejadian hipertensi di Puskesmas Bulango Timur.
Rancangan penelitian adalah pendekatan cross sectional. Populasinya seluruh wanita menopause yang berjumlah 350 orang di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bulango Timur dan sampelnya sebanyak 50 wanita menopause umur 50-60 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli-Agustus 2020. Analisis data yaitu uji chi-square.
Hasil penelitian responden banyak berstatus gizi gemuk yaitu 39 responden (78,0%). Asupan makanan banyak berkategori lebih yaitu 35 responden (70,0%). Hasil analisis status gizi dengan kejadian hipertensi pada wanita menopause didapatkan p value = 0,000 maka disimpulkan ada hubungan antara status gizi dengan kejadian hipertensi. Analisis hubungan asupan makanan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada wanita menopause didapatkan p value = 0,000, maka disimpulkan ada hubungan antara asupan makanan dengan kejadian hipertensi. Disarankan bagi wanita menopause lebih memperhatikan status gizi dan asupan makanan agar tekanan darahnya terkontrol dan untuk Puskesmas dapat dijadikan suatu referensi atau motivasi agar memperhatikan status gizi dan asupan makanan untuk mengurangi factor risiko terjadinya kejadian hipertensi.

Indonesia has entered a phase with a more increasing prevalence in the society,which triggres noncommunicable disease.the data showed that a national prevalence for hypertension was 32,4% for people aged over 18 years in 2016,then decreased to 30,9% in 2017,and improved to 34,1% in 2018. Reesearch objective was to find out the relationship between nutritional status and dietary intake with hypertension prevalence at Puskesmas Bulango Timur.
This research applied cross sectional approach. Population involved in this research was 350 women in menopause at working area of Puskesmas Bulango Timur, while its samples were 50 of them aged 50-60 years. The research was conducted from July to August 2020. Data analysis applied chi-square test.
Research finding revealed that the nutritional status of 39 respondents or 78,0% was fat, and the dietary intake of 35 respondents or 70,0% were in excessive category. Result of analysis for nutritional status with hypertension incidence at women in menopause obtained p value = 0,000 which indicated presense of relationship between the nutritional status with the hypertension incidence. In addition, analysis of relationship of dietary intake with hypertension incidence at women in menopause obtained p value = 0,000 which indicated that there was a relationship between the dietary intake with the hypertension incidence. As a suggestion, women in menopause should pay more attention to their nutritional status and dietary intake to control their blood pressure. Also, Puskesmas should take this research as a reference to pay attention to the nutritional atatus and dietary intake to reduce risk factor for hypertension incidence.
