Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) merupakan suatu program yang wajib untuk diterapkan disetiap tempat kerja. Implementasinya telah menyebar secara menyeluruh hampir disetiap sektor industri yang ada. Rumusan masalah bagaimana penerapan program Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Gorontalo. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui penerapan program keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) di Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Gorontalo.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data secara in-depth interview. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 7 orang, terdiri dari Informan kunci meliputi Kepala Pelabuhan, Petugas Keamanan dan Informan tambahan terdiri dari Koordinator Lapangan, Pegawai Pemerintah Non Pegawai Negeri (PPNPN), Kepala Buruh.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan program Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Gorontalo belum diterapkan dengan maksimal sesuai dengan standar K3. Dari 5 variabel yang diteliti 4 diantaranya belum diterapkan dengan maksimal. Yaitu penggunaan alat-elindung diri (APD), penanggung jawab K3, pemeriksaan kesehatan berkala, din rambu rambu K3. Adapun untuk indikator tentang pelatihan K3 sudah diterapkan dengan baik, walaupun hanya pada program-program pelatihan K3 tertentu. Disarankan bagi pihak Instansi maupun Pelabuhan untuk selalu memperioritaskan dan peduli terhadap penerapan program K3 dengan cara menjaga kesinambungan pelaksanaan program K3 yang telah diprogramkan sehingga dapat membantu program K3 berjalan dengan baik dan efektif

Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is a program that must be implemented in every workplace and its implementation has spread widely in almost every existing industrial sector. The formulation of the problem is how to implement the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) program at the Gorontalo Ferry Port. The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) program at the Gorontalo Ferry Port.
This study adopted a type of qualitative research method and data were collected through in-depth interviews. There were 7 informants in this study, consisting of key informants including the head of port, security officers, and additional informants consisting of field coordinators, non-civil servant government employees (PPNPN), and head of labor.
The results of this study indicate that the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) program at the Gorontalo Ferry Port have not been implemented optimally following K3 standards. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE), the person in charge of K3, periodic health checks, and K3 signs are the four factors out of five that have not been fully implemented. However, the OSH training indicators have been effectively implemented, although only in a few OSH training programs. As a result, it is expected that the port's agencies will prioritize and maintain the implementation of the K3 program to keep it running properly and effectively.
