Varises adalah pembuluh darah balik melebar yang berliku-liku sehingga menonjol pada permukaan kulit, berdiri pada posisi tegak dalam waktu lama dapat menyebabkan nyeri atau rasa tidak nyaman pada tungkai bawah. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan risiko kejadian varises tungkai bawah pada pekerja di PT.Davincy Airindo Gorontalo bagian produksi.
Jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel sebanyak 73 responden pekerja dibagian produksi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner, stature meter, dan timbangan berat badan. Analisis data dengan uji Chi Square.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan risiko kejadian varises tungkai bawah yaitu lama berdiri p = 0,040 < �±, dan jenis kelamin p = 0,046 < �±. Usia tidak ada hubungan dengan risiko kejadian varises p = 0,248 > �±, keturunan p = 0,257 > �± dan obesitas p =0.198 > �±.
Simpulan terdapat hubungan lama berdiri dan jenis kelamin dengan risiko kejadian varises tungkai bawah, dan tidak terdapat hubungan usia, keturunan dan obesitas dengan risiko kejadian varises tungkai bawah. Saran untuk mencegah timbulnya varises pada pekerja, agar dapat melakukan olahraga secara teratur, menjaga berat badan dan memeriksakan kedokter jika mulai timbul keluhan.

Varicose veins are dilated and tortuous so that they stand out on the skin�s surface, standing in an upright position for a long time which can cause pain or discomfort in the lower leg. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the risk of lower leg varicose veins in workers at PT. Davincy Airindo Gorontalo, production department. This research is observational research with a cross-sectional design. The sample were 73 respondents who worked in the production department. The research instrument used questionnaires, stature meters, and weight scales. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test.
The results showed a relationship between the risk of lower leg varicose veins, namely prolonged standing with p = 0,040 < α and gender with p = 0,046 < α. Meanwhile, age has no relationship with the risk of varicose veins with p = 0,248 > α, heredity p = 0,257 > α, and obesity with p = 0,198 > α.
In conclusing, there is a relationship between prolonged standing and gender with the risk of lower leg varicose veins, and there is no relationship between age, heredity, and obesity with the risk of lower leg varicose veins. It is suggested to prevent the occurrence of varicose veins in workers, to exercise regularly, maintain body weight, and consult a doctor if complaints arise.
