Skripsi, Pembimbing I Dr. Lintje Bockosoe, S.KM, M.Kes dan Pembimbing II Yasir Mokodompis, S.KM, M.Kes. Jurusan Kesehatan Masyarakat, Fakultas Olahraga Dan Kesehatan, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.
Retensi dan pemusnahan berkas rekam medis menjadi hal yang perlu di perhatikan karena penambahan berkas rekam medis dan kunjungan pasien yang terus meningkat dengan tidak diimbangi penyusutan atau retensi yang baik runka akan menimbukan penumpukkan berkas rekam medis yang mengganggu mengetahui faktor-faktor apa yang menjadi prioritas utama penghambat Retensi dan Pemusnahan Berkas Rekam Medis Inaktif.
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan penelitian terdiri dari 1 orang informan kunci dan 3 orang informan biasa. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Pangi Kab. Boalemo.
Hasil penelitian menjadi faktor Man prioritas masalah utama dengan nilai skor 144 rangking 1 yakni dengan tidak adanya tenaga dan petugas yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan rekam medis ataupun memiliki pengetauhan. Faktor Method prioritas masalah kedua skor 96, faktor Money prioritas masalah ketiga dengan skor 24, faktor Materials prioritas masalah keempat dengan skor 6. Faktor Mechine prioritas masalah kelima dengan skor 2.
Pentingnya bagi Puskesmas Pangi untuk dapat lebih memperhatikan mengenai Retensi dan Pemusnahan berkas Rekam Medis Inaktif, karena pentingnya penyusutan berkas rekam medis yang sudah rusak dan tidak sesuai penyusunannya dalam penyimpanan akan menyebabkan tidak optimal dan efisien dalam melayani pasien. Hal tersebut di sebabkan karena kegiatan retensi dan pemusnahan berkas rekam medis tidak terlaksana sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku.

Retention and destruction of medical record files must be regarded as the addition of medical record files, and patient visits continue to increase without being matched by reduction or good retention. Consequently, it will lead to accumulation of medical record files which disrupts work activities. The research objective is to determine the main priority factors which hamper the implementation of retention and destruction of inactive medical record files.
This research is classified as descriptive research which employs a qualitative approach. The research informants comprise 1 key informant and 3 regular informants. The research data are gathered through observation, structured interview, and documentation. This research is conducted at Puskesmas (Public Health Center) Pangi, Boalemo Regency.
The research findings indicate that the Man factor is the first priority problem with a score of 144, and it encompasses the absence of staff and officers who have medical record educational backgrounds, or who are equipped with appropriate knowledge. Subsequently, the Method factor is the second priority problem with a score of 96, the Money factor is the third priority problem with a score of 24, the Materials factor is the fourth priority problem with a score of 6, and the Machine factor is the fifth priority problem with a score of 2.
Therefore, Puskesmas Pangi must pay more attention to the Retention and Destruction of Inactive Medical Record files, as the reduction of medical record files that have been damaged and are not properly arranged in storage will result in not optimal and inefficient service to the patients. Additionally, such a condition occurs due to the retention and destruction of medical record files are not carried out in accordance with prevailing regulations.
