ABSTRAK
Sampah plastik yang berserakan, dibakar atau dibuang akan menghasilkan bahan kimia beracun. Plastik harus dihilangkan atau diolah sebaik mungkin, atau diletakkan di tempat yang tepat. Beberapa solusi seperti pemilahan sampah hingga daur ulang plastik nampaknya belum sepenuhnya menekan limbah plastik. Ecobrick muncul sebagai salah satu solusi atas permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode demonstrasi terhadap pengetahuan dan tingkat keterampilan pengolahan sampah plastik melalui pembuatan ecobrick di desa Botutonuo kecamatan Kabila Bone kabupaten Bone Bolango.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Ibu-ibu PKK yang ada di desa Botutonuo yaitu sebanyak 34 responden, dengan sampel yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus total sampling dengan jumlah yang diperoleh yaitu 34 responden.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pre experiment dengan rancangan one group pretest and postets, pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon.
Hasil uji statistik bahwa nilai rata-rata pengetahuan pengolahan sampah plastik responden sebelum diberikan metode demostrasi pembuatan ecobrick adalah 38,48% dan sesudah diberikan metode demostrasi pembuatan ecobrick nilai rata-rata pengetahuan adalah 84,56%, serta nilai p-value= 0.000 ���±=0,05.
Simpulan pemberian metode demontrasi pembuatan ecobrick berpengaruh terhadap pengetahuan dan tingkat keterampilan dalam pengolahan sampah plastik di Desa Botutonuo Kecamatan Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango.

ABSTRACT
Scattered, burned, or disposed plastic waste will produce toxic chemicals. Plastic has to be removed or treated as best it can or put in the right place. Several solutions, such as waste segregation and plastic recycling, seem to have not completely suppressed plastic waste. Ecobrick appears as solution to this problem. This research aims to determine the influence of the demonstrasion method for making ecobrick on knowledge and skill level of plastic waste processing in Botutonuo village, Kabila Bone Subdistrict, Bone Bolango regency.
The Population in this research were all PKK (Family Welfare Movement) team in Botutonuo village, totaling 34 respondents. The sample was determined using the Total Sampling 34 respondents.
This research employs are pre-experimental approach with a one-grup pre-test and post-test design. The data are collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test.
Statistical test results indicate that the average value of respondents������ knowledge of plastic waste processing before being given the demonstrasion method for making ecobrick wa 38.48%; meanwhile, the average value of respondents������ knowledge after the demonstrasion method for making ecobrick was 84.56%, and the p-value = 0.000 a=0.00
In conclusion the demonstrasion method for making ecobrick affects knowledge and skill levels in plastic waste processing in Botutonuo village, Kabila Bone Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency.
