Abstrak
Status gizi merupakan ukuran keberhasilan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi dan keseimbangan dalam tubuh. Keadaan status gizi itu diantaranya gizi kurus tingkat berat, kurus tingkat ringan, normal, gemuk tingkat ringan dan gemuk tingkat berat. Rumusan masalah adalah apakah terdapat perbandingan status gizi dari pola makan, porsi makan, kebiasaan sarapan dan jenis makanan yang tinggal di rumah dan kos-kosan pada Mahasiswa angkatan 2018 Jurusan Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan status gizi dari pola makan, porsi makan, kebiasaan sarapan dan jenis makanan yang tinggal di rumah dan kos-kosan pada Mahasiswa angkatan 2018 Jurusan Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.
Penelitian survey analitik dengan rancangan Cross Sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Kesehatan Masyarakat angkatan 2018 UNG sejumlah 156 dan sampel 112 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel manggunakan simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji Mann Whitney.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status gizi yang tinggal di rumah dan kos-kosan dengan nilai p-value=0,007. Status gizi dari pola makan dengan nilai p-value=0,001
The term nutritional status refers to a person's ability to achieve nutritional needs and maintain body balance. The nutritionalstatusesincludeseverely underweight, slightly underweight, normal, severely overweight, and slightly overweight are the different types of nutritional conditions. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether or not there is a comparison of nutritional status from eating patterns, eating portions, breakfast habits, and types of food of living at home students and boarding house students in the class of 2018 of the Department of Public Health, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. This study aims to determine the comparison of nutritional status of eating patterns, eating portions, breakfast habits, and types of food consumed by living at home students and boarding house students in the class of 2018 of the Department of Public Health, State University of Gorontalo.
This is the type of analytical survey research with a cross-sectional design. The study population amounted to 156 students, and the sample amounted to 112 students. Samples were taken using the random sampling technique. Data analysis using Mann Whitney test.
The results showed that; the nutritional status of those living at home students and boarding house students obtained p-value=0.007, the nutritional status of theeating patterns obtained p-value=0.001
