Abstrak
Covid-19 merupakan virus yang menyebabkan gangguan sistem pernapasan yang menular melalui droplet. rumusan masalah adalah faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan masyarakat terhadap penggunaan masker dalam pencegahan Covid-19 pada pedagang di pasar Liluwo Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan masyarakat terhadap penggunaan masker dalam pencegahan Covid-19 pada pedagang di pasar Liluwo Kota Gorontalo.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan observasional analytic dengan rancangan Cross Sectional, Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, analisis data menggunakan uji Chi Square. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh pedagang pasar Liluwo, dengan sampel yang ditentukan menggunakan rumustotal sampling dengan jumlah yang diperoleh yaitu 33 pedagang.
Hasil penelitian menjelaskan tidak ada hubungan Pengetahuan ( p-value 0,599) dan Sikap (p-value 0,299) dengan Kepatuhan Penggunaan Masker, dan ada hubungan Sosial Ekonomi (p-value 0,000), Kenyamanan (p-value 0,000), dan Ketersediaan Masker (p-value 0,000) dengan Kepatuhan penggunaan masker (p-value 0,000).
Pentingnya manfaat menggunakan masker dari pada rasa tidak nyaman demi keselamatan dan kesehatan untuk mencegah Covid-19, meningkatkan rasa peduli terhadap sesama pedagang dan saling mengingatkan sesama pedagang yang tidak memakai masker.

Covid-19 is a virus which causes respiratory system disorders that transmitted through droplets. Problem statement in this study is what factors are related to public compliance with the use of masks in preventing Covid-19 among traders at the Liluwo local market, Gorontalo City. This study aims to determine the factors related to public compliance with the use of masks in preventing Covid-19 among traders at the Liluwo local market, Gorontalo City.
This study used an analytic observational approach with a cross-sectional design. The Data collection used observation sheets and the Chi-Square test as the data analysis. The population are all traders of the Liluwo local market, with sample determined using the total sampling as many as 33 traders.
The research findings explain that there is no relationship between Knowledge (p-value 0.599) and Attitude (p-value 0.299) with Compliance with the use of masks, and there is a relationship between Socio-economic (p-value 0.000), comfort (p-value 0.000), and availability of masks ( p-value 0.000) with compliance with the use of masks (p-value 0.000).
Therefore, it is important for people to use masks regardless the presence of discomfort for safety and health to prevent Covid-19, to increase the sense of caring among traders and to remind each other especially those wo do not wear a masks
