In Indonesia, two of plants which need to be considered as hypertension drug are cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) and starfruit (Averrhoa blimbi L.). The purpose of this research is to determine optimal ratio of cucumber and starfruit juice combination can reduce blood pressure with diureticum parameters. The research method is experimental research using mice by canula orally. In this research used control and treatment group which were divided into positive and negative control (Hidrochlortiazid and Na-CMC 1 % suspension). Sample of cucumber and starfruit were blended by juicer to again juice combination. Mice were induced by sodium chlorida 5% to increase the blood pressure. After that, mice were given the juice combination in different ratio (0 : 1, 3 : 7, 5 : 5, 7 : 3, 1 : 0) thus done observation result showed that the combination of cucumber and starfriut juice can reduce blood pressure with diureticum parameters. The optimal ratio of juice combination is 50% : 50% or 5 : 5. It means that juice combination have effect to reduce blood pressure. It can be seen on the ratio of juice combination (5 : 5) produced the number of urine volume more than positive control. In conclusion, juice combination for ratio 5 : 5 is better than hidrochlortiazid use as hypertension drug.
