Salah satu bahan alam yang dapat di formulasikan dalam bentuk sediaan gel adalah ketimun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh HPMC terhadap kestabilan fisik gel Sari Biji Ketimun (Curcumis Sativus L.). Formula gel Sari Biji Ketimun (Curcumis Sativus L.) menggunakan basis HPMC dengan variasi konsentrasi yaitu 1,5%, 2%, dan 2,5%. Pengujian kestabilan fisik gel meliputi viskositas, organoleptis, homogenitas, dan pH. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa formula dengan konsentrasi HPMC 2% memiliki stabilitas fisik yang baik dan tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan.

One of the natural ingredients that can be formulated in a gel dosage form is cucumber. The purpose of this study to see the effect on the physical stability HPMC gel Sari Cucumber seeds (Curcumis sativus L.). Sari gel formula Cucumber seeds (Curcumis sativus L.) using a base HPMC with varying concentrations of 1.5%, 2% and 2.5%. Testing of physical stability of the gel include viscosity, organoleptic, homogeneity, and pH. The results showed that the formula at a concentration of 2% HPMC has good physical stability and do not have significant differences.
