Daun bidara arab (Ziziphus spina-christi L), digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai obat tradisional untuk mempercepat penyembuhan luka bakar, dan penurunan demam. Senyawa yang berperan dalam tanaman ini yaitu flavonoid. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kadar flavonoid yang terdapat dalam ekstrak metanol daun bidara arab. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kandungan flavonoid yaitu dengan Kromatografi Lapis Tipis menggunakan eluen n-heksan : etil asetat dengan perbandingan (5:2) dan untuk menetapkan jumlah kadar yag terkandung didalamnya menggunakan metode Spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Hasil yag didapatkan dari identifikasi flavonoid yaitu ekstrak metanol daun bidara arab mengandung senyawa flavonoid yang ditunjukkan dari nilai Rf ekstrak metanol dan bidara yaitu 0,2; 0,325; 0,375; 0,475; 0,625; 0,675. Analisis kadar senyawa flavonoid ekstrak metanol daun bidara arab dilakukan pada panjang gelombang 431 nm dengan nilai absorbansi secara berturut-turut yaitu 0.198; 0.197; dan 0.198. Kadar kandungan flavonoid dalam sampel dihitung dengan cara mengkalibrasi nilai absorbansi sampel dengan persamaan linier standar kuarsetin yaitu y = 0,077 x â�" 0.038 dengan koefisien korelasi (R2) = 0,9819, dan didapatkan rata-rata kandungan total flavonoid dalam ekstrak metanol daun bidara arab yaitu 0,3%

Christ Torn Jujube leaves (Ziziphus spina-christi L), are mostly used by communities as a traditional herb to accelerate the healing of burns and reduce fever, in which the compounds with significant role in this plant are flavonoids. The purpose of this study was to analyze the levels of flavonoids contained in the methanol extract of Christ Torn Jujube leaves. The method used to identify the flavonoid content of thin layer chromatography using n-hexane: ethyl acetate eluent with a ratio of (5:2) and to determine the amount of content contained in it using the UV-Vis Spectrophotometry method.The results obtained from the identification of flavonoids i.e., the methanol extract of Jujube leaves contained flavonoid compounds which were indicated by the Rf values of the methanol and Jujube extracts, namely 0,2; 0,325; 0,375; 0,475; 0,625; 0,675. Analysis of the levels of flavonoid compounds in the methanol extract of the Jujbe leaves was carried out at a wavelength of 431 nm with absorbance values of 0.198; 0.197; and 0.198. The level of flavonoid content in the sample was calculated by calibrating the absorbance value of the sample with a standard linear equation of quarcetine, i.e., y = 0.077 x - 0.038 with a correlation coefficient (R2) = 0.9819, and the average content of total flavonoids in the methanol extract of Jujube leaves was obtained by 0.3%
