Hipertensi merupakan penyakit nomor satu yang menyebabkan kematian hampir di setiap negara. Di Indonesia merupakan nomor tiga sebagai penyakit yang mematikan yaitu 31,7% dari populasi usia 18 tahun ke atas. Di Manado hipertensi menempati urutan ke-5 dari 10 penyakit menonjol, dan di Puskesmas Bintauna merupakan nomor dua penyakit paling banyak. Hipertensi merupakan kenaikan tekanan darah lebih dari normal atau lebih dari 120/80 mmHg. Tujuan dari pengobatan hipertensi untuk mengendalikan tekanan darah dengan maksud mencegah komplikasi penyakit. Puskesmas Bintauna menyediakan obat antihipertensi Kaptopril dan Amlodipin. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pemberian obat hipertensi di Puskesmas Bintauna. Jenis penelitian merupakan observasional yang bersifat retrospektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil data penderita hipertensi dalam buku register pasien di Puskesmas Bintauna pada bulan Juli-Desember 2016. Jumlah pasien penderita hipertensi berjumlah 157 orang. Hasil penelitian di Puskesmas Bintauna menyatakan bahwa menyatakan bahwa 96,3% penggunaan obat antihipertensi di Puskesmas Bintauna telah sesuai dengan buku panduan praktek klinis di fasilitas kesehatan tahun 2014 dengan obat antihipertensi yang paling banyak di gunakan adalah kaptopril (96,3%).

Hypertension is the number one disease that causes death in almost every country. In Indonesa, it is the third deadly disease that is suffered by 31.7% of the population over the age of 18 years old. In Manado, Hypertension ranks the 5th position from 10 prominent diseases, while it is a disease with the second most population at Bintauna Public Health Center. Hypertension is an increasing of blood pressure more than normal or more than 120/80 mmHg. The goal of hypertension treatment is to control the blood pressure in order to prevent disease complications. Bintauna Public Health Center provides Captopril and Amlodipine as the antihypertensive drugs. The aim of this research is to know the description of drugs distribution at Bintauna Public Health Center. The type of this research is retrospective observational. This research was conducted by taking the data of hypertension patients in patient register book at Bintauna Public Health Center on July-December 2016. The numbers of hypertension patients are 157 people. The result of the research at Public Health Center of Bintauna clarified that 96,3% of anti-hypertensive drugs use at Public Health Center of Bintauna had been in accordance with the basic treatment standard of public health center in 2014 with the most anti-hypertensive drug used was captopril (96,3%).
