Ketidakpatuhan penggunaan antibiotik banyak ditemukan di masyarakat luas.Masalah ini dapat menjadi penyebab terjadinya resiko buruk seperti resistensi antibiotik.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi terhadapperilaku penggunaan antibiotik tanpa resep dokter ditinjau dari pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan di masyarakat Desa Bolangitang.
Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi analtik.Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling.Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu lembar kuesioner dan panduan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square dan opencode 4.0. Pengambilan data melalui lembar kuesioner dan wawancara pada 59 responden dari jumlah sampel awal.
Hasil yang didapat responden berjenis kelamin perempuan (71,1%), berusia 30-39 tahun (37,2%), berpendidikan terakhir SMA/K (52,5%), dan memiliki pekerjaan lainnya (37,8%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara persepsi terhadap sikap (p=0.011), persepsi terhadap tindakan (p=0.010). Sedangkan persepsi dan pengetahuan tidak ada hubungan (p=0.446).
Kesimpulan persepsi masarakat tergolong baik dengan nilai sebesar 54,2%, pengetahuan masyarakat tergolong kurang baik dengan nilai 57,6%, sikap masyarakat tergolong negatif dengan nilai sebesar 72,9%, dan tindakan masyarakat tergolong tidak tepat dengan nilai sebesar 55,9%. Saran kepada pihak desa agar dapat meningkatakan pengetahuan masyarakatnya tentang antibotik melalui program sosialisasi agarmasyarakatlebih teliti dalam menggunakan obat khusunya untuk pengobatan yang menggunakan antibiotik.

There has been rampant noncompliance of antibiotics used in the community where it can lead to a bad risk of antibiotic resistance. This study aims at finding out the perception on the use of antibiotics without physician�s prescription reviewed from knowledge, attitude, and behavior in Bolangitang Village community. The study employs an analytical observational design where its samples are determined by applying purposive sampling. The measurement tools used are questionnaire sheet and interview guideline. The data analysis uses chi square test and opencode 4.0. In the meantime, the data are collected through questionnaire sheet and interview to 59 respondents out of the initial samples. The study finding reveals that 71.1% of respondents are female, 37.2% of respondents are aged 30-39 years, 52.5°o of respondents are Senior/Vocational High School graduates, and 37.8°o of respondents have other occupations. Meanwhile, the result of the statistical test indicates that there is a relationship between perception on the attitude (p=0.011) and perception on the behavior (p=0.010), whereas the perception and knowledge do not signify any relationship (p=0.446). To conclude, the community perception is in a good category by obtaining a value of 54.2° 0, the community knowledge is in the less good category with a value of 57.6° o, the community attitude is in the negative category with a value of 72.9%, and the community behavior is in the inappropriate category with a value of 55.9%. As a recommendation, the village government should improve the community knowledge of antibiotics through socialization programs so that the community can be more scrupulous in using medicine, particularly the medication that uses antibiotics.
