Masalah dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah apakah dengan penggunaan model pembelajaranExplicit Instruction dapat meningkatkan keterampilansiswa yang ada dikelas VIII SMP Negeri I Tapa dalam melakukan lompat jauh khususnya gaya jongkokyang ada pada mata pelajaran penjas. Berdasarkan uraian permasalahan yang ada maka secara umum diadakanya penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan lompat jauh gaya jongkokdengan menggunakanmodel pemelajaranExplicit Instruction siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri I Tapa Dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract
Problems in this class action research is whether the use of Explicit Instruction learning model can improve the existing skills of students in class VIII SMP Negeri I Tapa in doing long jump squat particular style that exist in physical education subjects . Based on the description of the existing problems will generally diadakanya classroom action research aims to improve the skills of the long jump squat style using learning model of Explicit Instruction Junior High School eighth grade students I Tapa can be improved .
