Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah pada materi permainan bola basket khususnya pada tehnik dasar chest pass masih kurang efektif dan kurangnya peralatan pembelajaran penjasorkes,Siswa belum bisa atau memahami dalam melakukan praktek,Siswa tidak mendapatkan pengalaman gerak melalui proses pembelajaran,Rendahnya keterampilan chest pass.cara pemecahan masalah adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Explicit Intruction. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan chest pass dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Explicit Intruction pada siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Negeri 1 Dungaliyo. Hipotesis penelitian adalah: Jika model pembelajaran Explicit Intruction diterapkan, maka keterampilan chest pass permainan bola basket pada siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Negeri 1 Dungaliyo akan meningkat. Indikator dalam penelitian ini adalah: apabila keterampilan chest pass permainan bola basket siswa/i kelas VII 3 SMP Negeri 1 Dungaliyo dapat meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) 80 dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Explicit Intruction maka penelitian tindakan kelas ini dianggap selesai dan berhasil. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi siswa serta evaluasi atas materi yang diajarkan setiap siklus. Kemudian data tersebut di analisis untuk mengetahui peningkatan yang terjadi. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat diketahui terjadinya peningkatan rata-rata keterampilan siswa melakukan chest pass yakni: pada observasi awal nilai rata-rata keseluruhan siswa melakukan chest pass sebesar 55,28. Setelah dilaksanakan tindakan pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan sebesar 17,72 menjadi 73. Kemudian pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebesar 9 menjadi 82. Secara keseluruhan, peningkatan dari observasi awal hingga hasil dari evaluasi siklus II adalah sebesar 26,72.Dengan demikian dapat dikatakn bahwa hipotesis yang telah diajukan dapat diterima karena teruji kebenarannya.

Goals to be achieved in the study of this class action is an effort to improve the skills chest pass with the use of cooperative learning model Explicit intruction in class VII SMP Negeri 3 1 Dungaliyo. The study hypothesis is: If the intruction Explicit learning model is applied, then the skills of the game of basketball chest pass in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 1 Dungaliyo will increase. Indicators in this study are: if the skill chest pass game of basketball student / i grade VII 3 SMP Negeri 1 Dungaliyo can be increased with the average value of the entire student reaches a minimum completeness criteria (KKM) 80 by applying the learning model Explicit intruction the classroom action research this is considered completed and successful. Data were collected using observation sheet of students as well as an evaluation of the material to be taught each cycle. Then the data is analyzed to determine the increase that occurred. Based on data analysis can be seen an increase in the average skills of students perform chest pass namely: the initial observation overall average score of students doing chest pass at 55.28. After the implementation of the action on the first cycle an increase of 17.72 becomes 73. Then in the second cycle an increase of 9 to 82. Overall, the increase from the initial observation until the results of the evaluation of the second cycle is therefore dikatakn that 26,72.Dengan hypotheses have been proposed unacceptable as verified.
