Permasalahan yang akan dicari jawabannya pada penelitian ini adalah apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran eksplicit instruction terhadap keterampilan lempar lembing pada olahraga atletik. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Eksplicit Instruction terhadap keterampilan lempar lembing pada siswa kelas VIII2 SMP Negeri 2 Batudaa.. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Batudaa . Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest and posttest design dengan sampel 21 orang dengan selisih perolehan nilai pre-test 58.3 (skor tertinggi) dan 33,33 (skor terendah), sedangkan post-tes 91,66 (skor tertinggi) dan 66,66 (skor terendah). Dari hasil perhitungan diatas di peroleh harga t_hitung = 40.11 dan t_tabel pada 0,05; dk = n- 1 (21 - 1 = 20) ditemukan harga 2.84 dengan demikian£- t£-_hitung lebih besar dari t_tabel ( t_hitung = 10.53 > t_tabel = 2.84). Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, terima H_0 jika t_hitung>t_tabel. Dengan memperlihatkan hasil pengujian pada sebelum pelaksanaan eksperimen dan setelah pelaksanaan eksperimen menunjukkan adanya kesimpulan bahwa terjadi pengaruh yang signifikan antara skor tes awal sebelum perlakuan dan tes akhir setelah perlakuan terhadap keterampilan lempar lembing. Ini didasarkan pada analisis secara statistic diperoleh harga Thitung lebih besar dari Tdaftar harga thitung telah berada di dalam daerah penerimaan HA. Maka hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah "Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran explicit instruction terhadap keterampilan lempar lembing siswa kelas VIII2 SMP Negeri 2 Batudaa diterima".

The problem that will be sought by the answer in this research is whether there is influence of instruction explicit instruction model on javelin skill in athletic sport. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning model Exploration Instruction to the skills of javelin throwing in grade VIII2 students SMP Negeri 2 Batudaa .. This study used experimental research methods conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Batudaa. The research design used was one group pretest and posttest design with 21 samples with difference of pre-test score 58.3 (highest score) and 33,33 (lowest score), while post-test 91,66 (highest score) and 66, 66 (lowest score). From the above calculation results obtained by price t_hitung = 40.11 and t_tabel on 0.05; dk = n- 1 (21 - 1 = 20) found the price of 2.84 thus £-t£- _count is greater than t_table (t_count = 10.53> t_tabel = 2.84). Based on test criteria, accept H_0 if t_count> t_table. By showing the test results before the experiment and after the experiments, there was a conclusion that there was a significant effect between the initial test score before the treatment and the final test after treatment of the javelin skill. This is based on statistical analysis obtained by Thitung price greater than T Count price list already inside HA acceptance area. So the hypothesis in this study is "There is influence of explicit instruction model of learning skills of javelin class VIII2 SMPN 2 Batudaa received".
