Abstrak
Karim, Masni 2014. "Pengaruh Latihan Medicine Ball Throw Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Servis Atas Siswa SMP Negeri 8 Kota Gorontalo Pada Olahraga Bola Voli". Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga, Fakultas Ilmu-Ilmu Kesehatan dan Keolahragaan, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing 1 Dra. Nurhayati Liputo, M.Pd dan Pembimbing II Suryadi Datau, S.Pd, M.Pd.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti adanya pengaruh yang diberikan oleh latihan medicine ball throw terhadap kemampuan servis atas siswa SMP Negeri 8 Kota Gorontalo dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 orang selama 2 bulan dengan volume latihan 4 kali dalam seminggu dan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pre test and post test design.
Setelah dilakukan analisis data statistic penelitian baik uji normalitas maupun homogenitas datanya normal dan berasal dari populasi yang homogeny. selanjutnya Hasil pengujian diperoleh thitung = 35.50. nilai ttabel pada = 0,05; dk = n-1 (20-1=19) diperoleh harga sebesar 1,729 Dengan demikian thitung lebih besar dari tdaftar (thitung=35.50 > tdaftar = 1.729). Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian bahwa tolak H0 : jika thitung > tdaftar pada = 0,05; n-1, oleh karena itu hipotesis alternative atau Ha dapat diterima, sehingga dapat dinyatakan terdapat pengaruh medicine ball throw terhadap kemampuan servis atas pada siswa SMP Negeri 8 Kota Gorontalo.
Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan Medicine Ball Throw Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Servis Atas Siswa SMP Negeri 8 Kota Gorontalo.

This study aimed to examine the influence exerted by exercise medicine ball throw on the ability of servicing over 8 students of SMP Negeri Gorontalo city with a total sample of 20 people for 2 months with a volume of 4 times in a week training and experimental research methods research design with one group pre-test and post- test design .
After analyzing the statistical data and the research both tests of normality and homogeneity of normal data derived from homogeneous populations . subsequent test results obtained t = 35.50 . ttable value at = 0.05 ; df = n - 1 ( 20-1 = 19 ) obtained a price of 1.729 Thus tcount greater than tdaftar ( t = 35.50 > tdaftar = 1,729 ) . Based on the testing criteria that reject H0 : if thitung > tdaftar at = 0.05 ; n - 1 , therefore the alternative hypothesis can be accepted or Ha , so it can be stated there is the influence of the medicine ball throw on the ability to serve students of SMP Negeri 8 Gorontalo.
It can be concluded that the practice Medicine Ball Throws Against Improved Top Service Students of SMP Negeri 8 Gorontalo.
