Masalah dalam penelitian ini sebagai berikut : Bagaimana kemampuan smash pada atlet bola voli SMA Negeri 4 Kota Gorontalo?. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menganalisa kemampuan smash pada atlet bola voli SMA Negeri 4 Kota Gorontalo. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah Jika analisis diterapkan pada atlet bola voli SMA Negeri 4 Kota Gorontalo maka akan mengetahui kemampuan smash.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, deskripsi, pengujian hasil penelitian, dan pembahasan, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa: hasil penilaian analisis teknik smash atlet bola voli SMA Negeri 4 Kota Gorontalo berada pada kategori sangat kurang dengan persentase sebesar 14.29%, kategori kurang persentase sebesar 25%, kategori kurang sebesar 0%, kategori cukup sebesar 37,5%, kategori baik sebesar 0% dan kategori sangat baik sebesar 37,5%. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata, yaitu 68,44, hasil penilaian analisis teknik smash atlet bola voli SMA Negeri 4 Kota Gorontalo berada pada kategori baik.

The problems in this study are as follows: How is the smash ability of volleyball athletes at SMA Negeri 4 Kota Gorontalo ?. The purpose of this study was to analyze the smash ability of volleyball athletes at SMA Negeri 4 Kota Gorontalo. The hypothesis of this research is that if the analysis is applied to the volleyball athletes of SMA Negeri 4 Kota Gorontalo, it will know the smash ability.
Based on the results of data analysis, descriptions, testing of research results, and discussion, it can be concluded that: the results of the assessment of the smash technique analysis of volleyball athletes at SMA Negeri 4 Gorontalo City are in the very poor category with a percentage of 14.29%, the category is lacking a percentage of 25%, Inadequate category was 0%, moderate category was 37.5%, good category was 0% and very good category was 37.5%. Based on the average value, which is 68.44, the results of the assessment of the smash technique analysis of volleyball athletes at SMA Negeri 4 Gorontalo City are in the good category.
