Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) hubungan antara kecepatan dengan kemampuan menggiring sepak bola siswa SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, 2) hubungan antara kelincahan dengan kemampuan menggiring sepak bola siswa SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, dan 3) hubungan antara kecepatan dan kelincahan dengan kemampuan menggiring sepak bola siswa SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat
Metode yang digunakan adalah survei, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat yang berjumlah 22 siswa dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian kecepatan menggunakan tes kecepatan lari 50 meter, pengukuran kelincahan menggunakan shuttle run test, instrumen untuk mengukur kemamampuan menggiring bola menggunakan soccer dribble test. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Ada hubungan yang sedang antara kecepatan dengan kemampuan menggiring sepak bola siswa SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, dengan rx1.y = 0.563 > r tabel= 0.3598. (2) Ada hubungan yang kuat antara kelincahan dengan kemampuan menggiring sepak bola siswa SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, dengan rx2.y = 0.604 > r tabel = 0.3598. (3) hubungan yang kuat antara kecepatan dan kelincahan dengan kemampuan menggiring sepak bola siswa SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, dengan Ry (x1.x2) = 0.634 > r tabel= 0.3598. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sumbangan hubungan antara kecepatan dan kelincahan dengan kemampuan menggiring sepak bola siswa SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat sebesar 40.2 %, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 59.8 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang lain.

This study aims to determine 1) the relationship between speed and the ability to dribble at SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, 2) the relationship between agility and the ability to dribble at SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, and 3) the relationship between speed and agility and the ability to dribble. The method used is a survey, with data collection techniques using tests and measurements. The population in this study were students of SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, totaling 22 students with a total sampling technique. The speed research instrument uses a 50-meter running speed test, agility measurement uses the shuttle run test, the instrument to measure dribbling ability uses the soccer dribble test. Data analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation.
The results showed that; (1) There is a moderate relationship between speed and dribbling ability of students at SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, with rx1.y = 0.563 > r table = 0.3598. (2) There is a strong relationship between agility and the ability to dribble football at SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, with rx2.y = 0.604 > r table = 0.3598. (3) there is a strong relationship between speed and agility with the ability to dribble football at SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat, with Ry (x1.x2) = 0.634 > r table = 0.3598. Thus it can be concluded that the contribution of the relationship between speed and agility with the ability to dribble football at SMP Negeri 3 Limboto Barat is 40.2%, while the remaining 59.8% is influenced by other factors.
