The increasing of elderly population caused to need the anticipation of an increase the elderly amount who have the health problems. With age are inevitable decline of their physical, psychological, social relationships and spiritual that need to know the elderly’s life of quality itself. The purpose of this research is to describe an elderly’s life of quality in Tresna Werdha Nursing Homes in Gorontalo Province.
This research are uses the descriptive method. The populations are all elderly in Tresna Werdha Nursing Homes in Gorontalo Province, with 50 people as the sample by using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected with interview technique.
The results of research showed: (1) Elderly Physical in Tresna Werdha Nursing Homes in Gorontalo Province (58%) with enough criteria, (2) Elderly Psychological in Tresna Werdha Nursing Homes in Gorontalo Province (72%) with less criteria, (3) Elderly Freedom in Tresna Werdha Nursing Homes in Gorontalo Province (84%) with enough criteria, (4) Elderly Social Relationships in Tresna Werdha Nursing Homes in Gorontalo Province (92%) with enough criteria, (5) Elderly Environments in Tresna Werdha Nursing Homes in Gorontalo Province (76%) with enough criteria, (6) Elderly Spirituals in Tresna Werdha Nursing Homes in Gorontalo Province (94%) with enough criteria.
The conclusion of this research the elderly’s life of quality in Tresna Werdha Nursing Homes in Gorontalo Province are 3 elderly (6%) have less quality of life, and 47 elderly (94%) had a good quality of life. This results of this research can be used for nursing practice and to improve the nursing care of quality in Tresna Werdha Nursing Homes in Gorontalo Province.

Meningkatnya populasi usia lanjut menyebabkan perlu adanya antisipasi terhadap peningkatan jumlah Lansia yang mengalami masalah kesehatan. Dengan bertambahnya usia tidak dapat dihindari terjadi penurunan kondisi fisik, psikologis, hubungan sosial dan spiritual pada Lansia sehingga perlu diketahui kualitas hidup Lansia itu sendiri.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kualitas hidup Lansia di Panti Tresna Werdha Provinsi Gorontalo.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah adalah semua Lansia yang berada di Panti Tresna Werdha Provinsi Gorontalo, dengan besarnya sampel 50 orang dengan menggunakan teknik Purpossive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tekhnik wawancara
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Fisik Lansia di Panti Tresna Werdha Provinsi Gorontalo (58%) dengan kriteria Cukup, (2) Psikologis Lansia di Panti Tresna Werdha Provinsi (72%) dengan kriteria Kurang, (3) Tingkat Kebebasan Lansia di Panti Tresna Werdha Provinsi Gorontalo (84%) dengan kriteria Cukup, (4) Hubungan Sosial Lansia di Panti Tresna Werdha Provinsi Gorontalo (92%) dengan Kriteria cukup (5) Lingkungan Lansia di Panti Tresna Werdha Provinsi Gorontalo (76%) dengan Kriteria Cukup (6) Spritual Lansia di Panti Tresna Werdha Provinsi Gorontalo (94%) dengan kriteria Cukup
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Kualitas Hidup Lansia di Panti Tresna Werdha Provinsi Gorontalo sebanyak 3 Lansia (6%) memiliki kualitas hidup yang kurang sedangkan sebanyak 47 Lansia (94%) memiliki kualitas hidup yang cukup. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk praktek keperawatan serta dapat meningkatkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan Lansia di Panti Tresna Werdha Provinsi Gorontalo
