Exclusive breast feeding on infant is not having addition with other beverages and food given to infant from birth until 6 months of age. According to basic health research in 2010 has shown that exclusive breast feeding on infant only 15,3%. The study aimed to know the relationship of mother knowledge on breast milk and exclusive breast feeding on infant at Health Centre of Buladu of Gorontalo City in 2013.
Research methodology applied was cross sectional. Population in the study were mother with an infant age of 6-12 months that legularly visited Healt Centre of Buladu amounted 86 infants and study sample were all the population done by total sampling technique.
Statistical analysis applied chi square. Study results showed that there is a significant relation between mother knowledge about breast milk and exclusive breast feeding on infant at Health Centre of Buladu of Gorontalo City with p = 0.000
It is expected for Health Centre of Buladu to inprove the health promotion on exclusive breast feeding of mother with infant in its in-house regular services or posyandu to make healthier generation in the future.

ASI eksklusif adalah bayi hanya diberi ASI saja tanpa tambahan cairan lain, dan tanpa tambahan makanan lain yang diberikan pada bayi sampai umur 6 bulan. Berdasarkan Riskesdas 2010 menunjukkan bahwa persentase bayi yang menyusui eksklusif sampai dengan 6 bulan hanya 15,3%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pengetahuan Ibu Tentang ASI dengan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif Pada Bayi di Puskesmas Buladu Kota Gorontalo Tahun 2013.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang mempunyai bayi 6-12 bulan yang berkunjung di Puskesmas Buladu berjumlah 86 bayi dan Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan dari jumlah populasi yang ada yaitu 86 bayi yang ditentukan dengan teknik Total Sampling.
Analisis statisik menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada Hubungan yang signifikan antara Pengetahuan Ibu Tentang ASI dengan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif Pada Bayi di Puskesmas Buladu Kota Gorontalo dengan hasil p = 0.000
Diharapkan bagi Puskesmas Buladu agar lebih meningkatkan promosi kesehatan tentang Pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada ibu yang mempunyai bayi saat mereka berkunjung ke Puskesamas atau Posyandu agar dapat mewujudkan generasi mendatang yang sehat dan berkualitas.
