Being elderly is a part of growth ptocess. It encounters physical decline amd social change to cause dependence on independence. Being elderly used to haveactivities more independent than to those being dependent elderly. Family support can be attitude, behaviout, and family acceptabce toward the family member. The research aimed to find out the relationship between family out the relationship between family support and elderly independence in daily activities fulfillment in Tualango village, Tilangosubdistrict, Gorontalo district.
The research design applied analytic observational by having crosssectional approach. Population were all elderlies living in Tualango village, Tilangosubdistrict, Gorontalo district, an the sample range was 60-70 years old amounted 31respondents through the applying of techbique of purposive sampling. Data collection were trough questionnaire and observation, it was then analyzed through having computer program and displaying data was table of frequency distribution and analysis on the relationship of family support and elderly.
Research finding showed that there is a relationship between family support and elderly independence by observing chi-square test as p-value = (?
