Abstrak

ABSTRACT Tri Rahyani Turede. 841409074. Skripsi. Study Program of Nursing. Faculty of Health Sciences and Sports. Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Principal Supervisor was Zuhriana K. Yusuf, and co-supervisor was Syahrul Said. Low Infant Weight (BBLR) is a baby with 2500 gram weight. The data from WHO in 2009 stated that the number of low infant weight in Indonesia is 10,5%, and it still in average number in Thailand about 9.6% and in Vietnam 5,2%. The aim of this research is to know factors that related to the BBLR in Prof. Dr. Hi. Aloe Saboe Hospital. The design of this research applied case control with the retrospective approach. The population in this research was women that born a baby at Prof. Dr. Hi. Aloe Saboe Hospital in 2012, was about 1597 people. The sample of this research was about 180 people. Technique of collecting the data applied purposing sample method, and the analyzing of the data used statistic test of Chi-Square method. The result of the research showed the relationship between the age with BBLR, where the chi-square showed pvalue = 0.000 (?
