Abstrak
ABSTRACT Apriani Mangasok. Student's ID 911 409 013. "The Influence of Teacher Professional Competence towards Student's Learning Achievement in class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Tinangkung Banggai Kepulauan District, Central Sulawesi Province". Economics Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. It is supervised by Dra. Hj. Salma Bowtha, M.Pd and Agil Bachsoan, S^ig., M.Ag. The current research aimed to see the influence of teacher professional competence towards student's learning achievement in class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Tinangkung Banggai Kepulauan District, Central Sulawesi Province. The research method applied is a quantitative design. There were 37 samples. The problem identification as follow: 1) Lack of teacher's attention and care toward their competence. 2) Accounting teacher ability or competence is low in general. 3) Lack of student's ability to achieve the learning goal. To sum up, the regression coefficient using t-test says tcount= 4,5, and distribution list is 1%. The results showed that to,99(35)=2,46, the tC0Unt= 4,5 is higher than t)jst = 2,45 (4,5>2,46) or tcount receives HO. It can be concluded that Ho is refused and Hi is accepted. The researcher suggests several positive recommendation, they are as follow: 1). for the headmaster of SMA Negeri 1 Tinangkung and staff, there is a need to increase teaching and learning process for the sake of student's learning achievement. 2). For the researcher, there is a need to add variables which may affect the student's learning achievement, which in turn will help to expand their knowledge. And, 3). For students, lesson is important to gain success. Learning process is received in and outside the class or around the environment.
