Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Gorontalo fakultas ekonomi jurusan akuntansi tentang Perbankan Syariah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 2 (dua) jurusan akuntansi fakultas ekonomi Universitas Negeri Gorontalo sebanyak 62 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala pengukuran likert. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa jurusan akuntansi fakultas ekonomi Universitas Negeri Gorontalo Tentang perbankan syariah berada dalam kategori baik. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan jumlah presentasi persepsi responden atas instrumen yang dinyatakan sebesar 81.84%. Indikator yang paling dominan disetujui oleh responden adalah tentang karakteristik bank syariah. Indikator Lainnya adalah prinsip bank syariah, produk bank syariah dan sistem operasional bank syariah.

The research aimed to find out studentsâ perception of state University of Gorontalo, Faculty of Economics, Department of Accounting about Sharia Banking. The method used in this research was a quantitative descriptive method. The samples of this reseacrh were second-semester student of the Accounting Department, Economics Faculty, State University of Gorontalo which were 62 respondents with the sampling technique using stratified random sampling. Data sources used in this reseacrh were primary data which were obtained through questionnaire by using Likert scale measurement. Data analysis method used descriptive statistics analysis.
Research finding reveals that studentsâ perception of the Accounting Department, Economics Faculty, State University of Gorontalo about Sharia Banking was in the good category. It was indicated by the percentage amount of respondent perception on instruments which amounted to 81.845%. The most dominant indicator approved by respondents was sharia bank characteristics. The other indicators were sharia bank principal, sharia bank product and operational system of sharia bank.
