SUSILAWATI. 921 414 073. 2018. Pengaruh Locus Of Control Terhadap Audit Judgment Dengan Kompleksitas Tugas Sebagai Variabel Moderasi (Studi Kasus Pada Inspektorat Provinsi Dan Kota Gorontalo). Jurusan Akuntansi, Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Dibawah bimbingan Bapak Sahmin Noholo, SE., MM selaku pembimbing I dan Bapak Dr. Rio Monoarfa, SE., Ak., M.Si., CA selaku pembimbing II.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh locus of control terhadap audit judgment dan pengaruh locus of control terhadap audit judgmet degan kompleksitas tugas sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Inspektorat Provinsi dan Kota Gorontalo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh auditor yang yang telah memiliki sertifikasi JFA (Jabatan Fungsional Auditor) yang bekerja pada Inspektorat Provinsi dan Kota Gorontalo yang berjumlah 52 orang. Sampe penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan populasi atau penelitian sensus. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Jumlah kuesioner yang disebar sebanyak 52, dan jumlah kuesioner kembali sebanyak 32. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan alat analisis statistik yakni uji Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA).
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) locus of control berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap audit judgment pada Inspektorat Provinsi dan Kota Gorontalo, (2) kompleksitas tugas memperlemah hubungan antara locus of control dengan audit judgment pada Inspektorat Provinsi dan Kota Gorontalo.

The research aimed at investigating the influence of locus of control toward the audit judgment and task complexity as moderation variable. The research was conducted at Provincial Inspectorate and Gorontalo City. Population in this research was the all of the auditors that already had certification from JFA (Functional Position of Auditor) and work at Provincial Inspectorate and Gorontalo City which were 52 auditors. Research samples were all population member or census population. Data used primary data which were collected through the distribution of the questionnaire. The questionnaires that distributed was 52 questionnaires, and the questionnaire that returned was 32 questionnaires. Data were analyzed using statistical analysis which was moderated regression analysis (MRA) test.
Research finding revealed that: (1) locus of control has a positive and significant influence toward audit judgment at Provincial Inspectorate and Gorontalo City, (2) Task complexity weaken the correlation between locus of control and audit judgment at Provincial Inspectorate and Gorontalo City.
