Skripsi Program Studi S1 Administrasi Publik, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial. Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, dibawah bimbingan Dr Ismet Sulila, S.E., M.Si selaku pembimbing 1 dan Dr. Sri Yulianty Mozin, ST, MPA selaku pembimbing 2.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penerapan Prinsip-Prinsip Good Governance Terhadap Kualitas Pelayanan Publik di Dinas Kependudukan Catatan Sipil Kota Gorontalo. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Adapun jumlah sampel sebanyak 125 orang yang terdiri atas 26 orang pegawai dan 99 orang masyarakat. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini yakni analisis kuantitatif inferensial regresi sederhana. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip Good Governance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Gorontalo dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 43,10%. Adapun pengaruh dari variabel lain terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik sebesar 56,90% yakni variabel komunikasi, budaya organisasi, kompetensi pegawai, komitmen kerja pegawai, dukungan teknologi informasi dan sistem pengendalian intern. Hasil positif menunjukan bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip Good Governance yang semakin baik maka akan berdampak kepada peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik kepada masyarakat pengguna layanan di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Gorontalo.

This present research aimed to determine the effect of implementing principles of good governance on the public service quality at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Gorontalo City. The data collection in this research was done through questionnaire with samples of 125 people consisting of 26 employees and 99 non-employees. At the same time, the data analysis employed a quantitative inferential with simple regression analysis. The finding revealed that implementing principles of good governance positively and significantly affected the public service quality at the population and Civil Registration Office of Gorontalo City, with a coefficient of determination of 43.10%. Meanwhile, the remaining 56.90% were affected by other variables, namely variables of communication, organizational culture, employee competence, employee commitment, information technology support, and internal control system. In addition, the positive result depicted that the better the implementation of the principles of good governance, the better the public service quality at the population and Civil Registration Office of Gorontalo City.
