Abstract
Northern coastal area of Java has geomorphologically complex features, such as rapid coastal development (erosionsedimentation), most consisting of low-lying coast (slope), and erodable sandy beach. Shoreline change mapping is considered a valuable task for coastal monitoring and assessment. This paper presents the change analysis extraction of shoreline dynamic using combined between modification technique of single transect and the end point rate method which is permormed segmentary in every shoreline grid along at 101,04 km of northern shoreline of Indramayu, West Java-Indonesia. The research’s result was satisfactory and the approach has proven to be effective considering lack of the change rate for area which faces the complexity featureset of extraction.
