Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to review the growth and result of corn sweet and treatment the best to give mulch different. This research carried out in Pangi Villages, Suwawa Barat Subdistrict, Bone Bolango District. This research was held on November 2013 until January 2014. Experiment design using random design group, where treatment the use of mulch namely: without mulch (control), mulch alang-alang, mulch rice straw, mulch sawdust wood with 3 times deuteronomy and there were 12 tenement experiment. Parameter observation covering the number of dominance nisbah (NJD), tall plant, number of leaves, long cobs, and heavy cobs. The result showed the mulch similar clear to all parameter growth and the corn sweet the tall plant, number of leaves, long cobs, and heavy cobs. Granting mulch the best to the growth and results corn sweet namely mulch straw. Mulch hay having value rata-rata on the highest all parameters.
