Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the influence of time weeding and number of seeds
per planting hole towards growth and crop yield peanuts, interactions and weed populations.
This research was carried out in April until July 2015 in the village Hulawa, district Telaga,
Gorontalo, this study used a randomized design group (RAK) factorial where the first factor is
the time weeding which consists of 3 levels i.e. without weeding, weeding 2 MST and
weeding 4 MST. The second factor is the number of seed per planting hole made up 2 level
i.e. number of seed per planting hole rounds 2 and 3 seed number of grains per hole for
planting. The research results show the treatment time weeding 2 MST real effect against
growth i.e. high plant 4 MST, 6 MST, 8 MST number of leaf 4 MST, 6 MST, 8 MST and the
results i.e., number of pods per plant, weight of dried pods per plant, the dry seed weight per
plant, weight of 100 seeds. The number of seed per planting hole 2 butir effect on plant height
growth i.e. 4 MST, 6 MST, 8 MST leaf amount, 4 MST, 6 MST, 8 MST and the results i.e.,
number of pods per plant, weight of dried pods per plant, the dry seed weight per plant,
weight of 100 seeds. There are interaction time weeding and number of seeds per planting
hole against the amount of leaf 4 MST, 6 MST, 8 MST, the number of pods per plant, dried
pods, weight per plant, seeds per plant dry weight and dry weight of 100 seeds per plant at the
plant peanuts. Time weeding and number of seeds per planting hole effect on weed
population.
