Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine of land suitability classes with its widely, and determine the limiting factors for Phogostemon cablin Benth development. The land suitability analysis was used matching methods. The resuls of this research showed that land suitability classes was currently suitability (S2) with land unit distribution were 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and land unit 25. While for marginally suitability (S3) consist of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and land unit 33. Land potency for Phogostemon cablin Benth the wide totality were 83,755 ha which is for S2 widely of 11,6661 ha (15,43%) and for S3 widely of 72,094 ha (84,57%). The limiting factor consists of rainfall, rooting zones, nutrient retention and drainages.
