Abstract

Professional development supervisor that needs to be serious enough, seen from the duties and functions are so complex; 1) the Assessor, 2) researcher, 3) the developer, 4) pioneer / innovator, 5) motivator, 6) consultants, and 7) collaborators in order to improve the quality of education in schools targets. For the improvement of competence must be carried out either through increased competence of personal competence, social competence, competence, managerial supervision, academic supervision, competency evaluation of education and research and development competence. Among the urge for improved competence is the competence of research and development because this is where the skills and writing habits among supervisors still low. Increased supervisory skills in the preparation of writing scientific papers more effectively and efficiently carried out through in-service training
