This study aims to find out how the service and laboratory management to support the learning process in SMP Negeri 1 Gorontalo.
This research method using qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are interviews, field observations and documentation collection. The results of the research showed that: a) the management of the laboratory was effective in accordance with the school planning b) the laboratory service system showed good results for the school in serving the laboratory users with the existence of a good laboratory management in this school can support school and student achievement.
Based on the results of this study, the authors provide suggestions for schools, to continue to improve skills in developing the management of laboratory services in school. Thus the school will still exist in running education.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelayanan dan pengelolaan laboratorium untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 1 Gorontalo.
Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, pengamatan lapangan dan pengumpulan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: a) pengelolaan laboratorium berjalan dengan efektif sesuai dengan perencanaan sekolah b) sistem pelayanan laboratorium menujukan hasil yang cukup baik untuk sekolah dalam melayani para pengguna laboratorium dengan adanya pengelolaan laboratorium yang cukup baik disekolah ini dapat menunjang presestasi sekolah dan siswa.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka penulis memberikan saran bagi sekolah, untuk terus meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengembangkan pengelolaan layanan laboratorium yang ada disekolah. Dengan demikian sekolah akan tetap eksis dalam menjalankan pendidikan.
