Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, supervisor (1) Zulystiawati, SS, M.Ed.,PhD and supervisor (2) Sulkifly, SE, M.Pd This study aims to describe (1) the practice of instructional leadership by female school principal at SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo, (2) the impact of female principal instructional leadership on teacher self-efficacy. The research method is qualitative. Data collection techniques used (1) observation, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation. Data analysis using flow. Data analysis using content analysis with a qualitative approach. The results showed: (1) the practice of instructional leadership carried out by female principal at SMA 1 Gorontalo starting from setting learning goals, creating a learning climate, and the ability to organize learning was good based on teacher participation in trainings that could motivate teachers; (2) the impact of female principal instructional leadership on teacher self-efficacy is seen from the confidence of a teacher, and the teacher capacity is good based on the teacher performance assessment by the principal. For that it is recommended: (1)for school principal, it is expected to increase teacher confidence in the teaching process; (2) shareeducators are expected to be more creative and innovative in the application of learning methods; (3) other researchers are expected to be able to deepen this research, especially in aspects that have not been studied by researchers.
