Menemukan Rumus Luas Persegi dan Persegi Panjang Melalui Model
Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Pada Siswa Kelas III SDN 6 Suwawa
Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo”. Skripsi Program Studi S-I PGSD

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah model
pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menemukan
rumus luas persegi dan persegi panjang pada siswa kelas III SDN 6 Suwawa
Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo ? tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk
meningkatkan kemampuan menemukan rumus luas persegi dan persegi panjang
pada siswa kelas III SDN 6 Suwawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo
melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil pelaksanaan tindakan yang
dicapai pada siklus I belum menunjukan hasil yang diharapkan, karena siswa yang
memperoleh nilai 62 ke atas berjumlah 17 siswa atau 53.12%. sedangkan siswa
yang memperoleh 62 ke bawah berjumlah 15 siswa atau 46.88%. untuk itu
diadakan lagi tindakan ke siklus II, ternyata pada siklus II siswa yang tuntas
mengalami peningkatan yaitu menjadi 28 siswa atau 87.5% dari jumlah siswa 32
orang.
Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa
kemampuan menemukan rumus luas persegi dan persegi panjang dapat
ditingkatkan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas
III SDN 6 Suwawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo.

Formulation of the problem in this study is Is a model of type STAD
cooperative learning can enhance the ability to find the formula square and
rectangular area on the third grade students of SDN 6 Suwawa of Bone Bolango
Gorontalo province? purpose of this study was to improve the ability to find the
formula square and rectangular area on the third grade students of SDN 6 Suwawa
of Bone Bolango Gorontalo province through a model of type STAD cooperative
learning.
The results showed that the results achieved in the implementation of the
action cycle I have not showing the expected results, because the students who
scored above 62 to total 17 students or 53.12%. whereas students who earn below
the amount to 62 to 15 students or 46.88%. It was held again for the action to
cycle II, apparently on the students who completed the second cycle is increased
to 28 students or 87.5% of the number of students 32.
From the results of research conducted it can be concluded that the ability
to find the formula square and rectangular area can be improved through a model
of type STAD cooperative learning on students' grade III Elementary School
District 6 Suwawa Bone Bolango Gorontalo province.
