ABSTRAK
Iyam Akuba Madjid 2012. Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menemukan Rumus Luas
Persegi Panjang Melalui Penerapan Teori Bruner Pada Siswa Kelas 3 SDN II Lupoyo
Kecamatan Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo. Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Guru

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini apakah dengan menerapkan teori Bruner dapat
meningkatkan kemampuan menemukan rumus luas persegi panjang pada siswa kelas
3 SDN II Lupoyo kecamatan Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo? Tujuan penelitian ini
untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menemukan rumus luas persegi panjang pada siswa
kelas 3 SDN II Lupoyo Kecamatan Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Penelitian Tindakan
Kelas (PTK). Langkah dalam penelitian ini yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan
tindakan, tahap pemantauan dan evaluasi, tahap analisis dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian
pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa, dari 19 orang siswa yang dikenakan tindakan, 9
orang atau 68,42% memperoleh nilai yang baik. Prosentase ini meningkat pada siklus
II. Dari 19 orang siswa yang dikenakan tindakan, 18 orang siswa atau 94,73 %, hal ini
sudah memenuhi indikator kinerja dalam penelitian yaitu minimal 75% siswa yang
dikenai tindakan memiliki kemampuan dalam menemukan rumus luas persegi
panjang dengan perolehan nilai pada tes evaluasi adalah 70 ke atas.
Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teori Bruner dapat
meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menemukan rumus luas persegi panjang
dikelas 3 SDN II Lupoyo Kecamatan.Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo

About problem in this research what by applying theory Bruner can increase ability

Bruner for students in the third class in SDN II Lupoyo, Telaga Blue Distric
Gorontalo
The results showed that in cycle I, of the 19 students who imposed the action, or
68.42% 9 people obtain good grades. This percentage increased in the second cycle.

accomplished performance indicator in observational it which is minimal 75%
student that hit by action has ability in find square extent formula long with
appreciative acquisition on essays evaluation be 70 to above.
It can be concluded that the application of the theory of Bruner can enhance students'
skills in finding the area of the rectangle formula
in the third class in SDN II Lupoyo, telaga blue Distric Gorontalo
