Abstract
i ABSTRAK Masra Tomaili. 2012. “Penggunaan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Model Group Investigation Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Puisi Bebas Pada Siswa Kelas V SDN No. 106 Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo”. Skripsi Program Studi S-I PGSD Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Hj. Sumarni Mohammad, S.Pd, M.Pd. dan Pembimbing II Dra. Ratnarti Pahrun, M.Pd. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah kemampuan menulis puisi bebas dapat ditingkatkan melalui model group investigation pada siswa kelas V SDN No. 106 Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo ? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi bebas melalui model group investigation pada siswa kelas V SDN No. 106 Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I dari total jumlah siswa 23 orang yang dikenai tindakan, yang tuntas sebanyak 16 orang atau 69.56% dan yang belum tuntas sebanyak 7 orang atau 30.43%. Dihubungkan dengan indikator keberhasilan penelitian yang menetapkan minimal 75% siswa memperoleh nilai 70 berarti indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan belum tercapai. Sehingga penelitian ini dilanjutkan pada siklus II. Pada siklus II hasil yang dicapai yaitu dari 23 siswa yang dikenai tindakan, yang tuntas sebanyak 20 orang atau 86.95% dan yang belum tuntas sebanyak 3 orang atau 13.04%. hasil yang dicapai pada siklus II melebihi indikator yang diharapkan, sehingga penelitian ini tidak dilanjutkan lagi pada siklus berikutnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model group investigation dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi bebas pada siswa kelas V SDN No. 106 Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo. The research question of this study was can the ability of writing free poem be improved by group investigation model in the fifth grade students of SDN No. 106 Kota utara, Gorontalo? The aim of this study was to improve the ability of writing free poem by group investigation model in the fifth grade students of SDN No. 106 Kota utara, Gorontalo. The method used in this research was action-based research. The techniques of data collection were observation, test, and documentation. The result of this research showed that in the cycle I from the total number of students, 23 students who were treated, there were 16 students or 69. 59% successful and 7 students or 30.43% were not successful. Related to indicator of research successfulness, it was determined 75% of students got 70 which means the determined successfulness indicator was not achieved. Thus, the research was continued in the cycle II. The results achieved in the cycle II were 20 students or 86.95 % of them were successful and 3 students or 13.04 % were unsuccessful. The result achieved in the cycle II was more than the expected indicator, so the research could not be continued in the next cycle. Based on the research finding, it can be concluded that the group investigation model can improve the ability of writing free poem in the fifth grade students of SDN No. 106 Kota utara, Gorontalo.
