Ety Umar. 2012. “Meningkatkan Kemampuan Siswa Menulis Hasil Laporan
Pengamatan Melalui Media Gambar Seri di Kelas V SDN No. 29 Kota Selatan
Kota Gorontalo”. Program Studi S1 PGSD, Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah
Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo 2012.
Pembimbing I adalah Dra. Hawa Pattiiha, M.Pd dan Pembimbing II adalah Wiwy
Triyanty Pulukadang, S.Pd, M.Pd.
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah dengan menggunakan media
gambar seri kemampuan siswa kelas V SDN No. 29 Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo
dalam menulis laporan hasil pengamatan dapat ditingkatkan ? ”. Penelitian ini
dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis hasil
laporan pengamatan melalui media gambar seri pada siswa kelas V SDN No. 29
Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui 2 siklus. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa
kelas V sejumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes,
dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah
teknik analisis data kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pada siklus I tingkat kemampuan siswa
belum mencapai indikator yang di harapkan yaitu 75 %. Pada siklus II semua
siswa sudah masuk dalam kategori tuntas belajar atau dengan kata lain 85.71 %
telah berhasil sesuai indikator kinerja yang ditetapkan sebelumnya oleh peneliti.
Oleh karena itu dengan melalui media gambar seri dapat meningkatkan
kemampuan menulis laporan hasil pengamatan pada siswa kelas V SDN 29 Kota
selatan Kota Gorontalo.

Problems in this study is "What is the use of media images series V capability
SDN No grade students. 29 South City of Gorontalo city in writing a report of
observations can be improved? ". The study was conducted with the aim to
improve the writing skills of observation through the media reports the results of
the image series on SDN No. V-grade students. 29 South City of Gorontalo city.
This type of study is a Class Action Research (PTK). The research was conducted
through two cycles. Research subjects are students in grade 28 student V number.
Data collection techniques including observation, testing, documentation, and
field notes. Data analysis technique used is the qualitative data analysis
techniques.
The results of this study concluded that the cycle I have not reached the level of
students' skills in the hope that the indicator is 75%. In the second cycle of all
students are included in the category of complete study or in other words 85.71%
have managed to fit a pre-established performance indicators by researchers.
Hence the series of images through the media can increase the ability to write
reports on students' observations of 29 class V SDN southern city of Gorontalo
city.
