Abstract
ABSTRAK
Srirahayu Novita Bano. 2015. Efektifitas Pengelolaan Perpustakaan Sekolah Sebagai Pusat Sumber Belajar Di SDN 3 Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo. Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Dra. Hj. Hakop Walangadi, M.Si dan pembimbing II Samsi Pomalingo, S.Ag, MA.
Penelitian ini membahas tentang Efektifitas Pengelolaan Perpustakaan Sekolah Sebagai Pusat Sumber Belajar di SDN 3 Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan koleksi perpustakaan sebagai pusat sumber belajar. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian berdasarkan wawancara serta dokumentasi. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan koleksi perpustakaan dimulai dengan pengadaan buku, kemudian buku diinventarisasi, diklasifikasi, dikatalogisasi, dilakukan pelabelan buku. Pengelolaan perpustakaan di SDN 3 Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo belum efektif karena masih terdapat banyak kekurangan diantaranya tidak terdapat pengelola khusus untuk mengelola perpustakaan.

This research discusses about the effectiveness of school library management as learning center in SDN 3 Limboto Barat, District of Gorontalo. This research aims at describing library collections management as learing center. It applies descriptive qualitative.
Finding is based on interview and documentation. It can be concluded that management of library collections management is started by books supplying, then book inventory, classification, and labeling. The management of library in SDN 3 Limboto Barat, District of Gorontalo is considered not effective due many lacks such as there is not certain employee to manage the library.
