Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Peran Guru Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Memahami Mata Pelajaran IPS di kelas VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Mourky Kecamatan Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk Mendeskripsikan Peran Guru Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Memahami Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas VI di MI Al-Mourky Kecamatan Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo.
Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dan menganalisis dan mengetahui peran gru meningkatkan minat belajar siswa memahami mata pelajaran IPS di kelas VI MI Al-Mourky Kecamatan Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Peran Guru Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Memahami Mata Pelajaran IPS di Kelas VI yaitu Guru menjalankan perannya sebagai pengelola kelas, motivator, dan fasilitator bagi siswanya dengan baik, yaitu memberikan semangat, perhatian, rasa nyaman tanpa merasa terbebani oleh adanya kesulitan yaitu harus dipahami dalam proses pembelajaran IPS. Beberapa solusi yang dapat dilakukan seorang guru dengan mengajak siswa dalam berinteraksi langsung dan diusahakan semuanya terlibat aktif pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung serta memberikan motivasi dan mengigatkan kepada siswa agar menggunakan waktu belajar dengan sebaik-baiknya.

The problem statement of this research is "how to improve Students' Learning Interest in Understanding Social Science Subject in Grade VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Mourky, Telaga, Gorontalo Regency." This research aims to describe the teachers' role in improving students' learning interest in understanding social science subject in Grade VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Mourky, Telaga, Gorontalo Regency This study is descriptive qualitative, and analyzing and knowing teachers' role in improving students' learning interest in understanding Social Science subject in grade VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Mourky, Telaga, Gorontalo regency. Techniques of data collection used by researchers were observation, interviews, and documentation.
Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that teachers' role in improving students' learning interest in understanding Social Science subject in grade VI that
Teachers perform their role as a class manager, motivator, and facilitator for their students well. They also need to give encouragement, attention, comfort without unencumbered by the difficulties that must be understood in the learning process of Social Science. Some solutions that can be done by a teacher are to invite students in direct interaction and to get them to involve actively during the learning process also to motivate and to instruct them to use their study time wisely.
