Abstract
ABSTRAK Mufida Hakim. 2015. Kemampuan Siswa Menulis Cerpen Menggunakan Media Gambar Di Kelas V SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Skripsi, Program S1 Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Dr. Hj. Rusmin Husain, S.Pd, M. Pd dan pembimbing II Dra. Dajani Suleman, M. Hum. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: Bagaimana kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan media gambar di kelas V SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo, dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan media gambar di kelas V SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Analisis data yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian yang peneliti temui bahwa kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen menggunakan media gambar di kelas V SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo,yaitu 27 siswa sudah mampu menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan media gambar. Data ini diperoleh dari hasil tulisan siswa itu sendiri yaitu menulis cerpen menggunakan media gambar. Dari 32 siswa yang ada di kelas V, siswa yang mampu berjumlah 27 siswa atau 84,38 %, siswa yang kurang mampu berjumlah 3 siswa atau 9,38 %, dan siswa yang tidak mampu berjumlah 2 siswa atau 6,25 %. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas V SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo sudah mampu menulis cerpen menggunakan media gambar. Penggunaan media gambar sangat membantu guru dalam memotivasi dan mengisnpirasi siswa untuk dapat menulis cerpen dengan ide dan isi cerita yang ditentukan oleh siswa itu sendiri. The problem statement of research was : How the students' ability in writing short story through picture as media at class V of SDN 4 Telaga, district of Gorontalo. The research aimed at investigating the students' ability in writing short story through picture as media at class V of SDN 4 Telaga, district of Gorontalo. The technique of data analysis was qualitative descriptive technique. The research result showed that most of students had been able to write short story by using picture as media. The data were gained by the students' short story by using picture as media. There were 27 of 32 students or 84, 38 % able to write short story by using picture as media, 3 students or 9, 38 % were lack, and 2 students or 6, 25 % were not able. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that students at class V of SDN 4 Telaga have been able to write short story by using picture as media. The use of picture as media is very helpful for teacher in motivating and inspiriting students to be able to write short story with students' own idea and story.
