Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Dengan Pembimbing I Dra. Evi Hasim,M.Pd dan Pembimbing II Dra. Dajani Suleman,M.Hum.
Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah "Bagaimana Kemampuan Siswa Berbalas Pantun di Kelas IV Siswa Kelas IV SDN No. 64 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kemampuan Siswa Berbalas Pantun di Kelas IV SDN No 64 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif.
Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN NO 64 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo dapat diklasifikasikan dari 31 (tiga puluh satu) siswa bahwa 24 (dua puluh empat) orang siswa atau 74,4 % dari keseluruhan siswa mampu berbalas pantun, dan 6 (enam) orang siswa atau 19.4 % siswa yang kurang mampu berbalas pantun serta 1 (satu) orang atau 3.2 % siswa yang tidak mampu berbalas pantun.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan siswa berbalas pantun dapat meningkat di Kelas IV SDN NO 64 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo.

Dajani Suleman, M.Hum.
The problem statement of this research was how the students' ability in doing reciprocal poem in the fourt grade of SDN 64 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo. This research aimed at knowing the students' ability in doing this. This research used descriptive qualitative method.
Based on the conducted observation, it was found that 24 out 31 students or 74,4% of the students had good ability, 6 or 19,4% students had enough ability and 1 or 3,2% of the students had bad ability ini doing reciprocal poem.
Based on the results, it can be concluded that students' ability in doing reciprocal poem in the fourth grade of SDN 64 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo is good.
