Abstract
ABSTRAK Alberti Botutihe, 2017. Upaya guru menangani gejala siswa yang hiperaktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran kelas IV SDN 06 Botumoito Kabupaten Boalemo. Salma Halidu, S.Pd M.Pd. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana upaya guru menangani gejala siswa yang hiperaktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas IV SDN 06 Botumoito. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya guru menangani gejala siswa yang hiperaktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas IV SDN 06 Kabupaten Boalemo. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru menangani gejala siswa yang hiperaktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas IV SDN 06 Botumoito Kabupaten Boalemo belum maksimal. Hal ini di karenakan guru belum mengetahui karakter-karakter dari setiap siswa, terutama siswa yang hiperaktif. Guru kurang mampu mengalihkan perhatian siswa sehingga siswa tersebut merasa dirinya kurang di perhatikan. Upaya yang di lakukan guru dalam menangani gejala siswa yang hiperaktif belum terlalu tegas yaitu guru hanya mampu menegur ataupun menasehati siswa tersebut, sehingga anak tersebut masih menggangu teman-temannya pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran. The problem of this present study is how the teacher deals with hyperactive students during learning activity at grade 4, SDN 06 Botumoito. This study aims to explore the teacher's effort to alleviate such an issue. The method employed was qualitative descriptive and the data collection was from observation, interview, and documentation. It is revealed that the teacher must maximize their attempt to cope with the above problem in the site area. This is due to the lack of teacher's capability to indentify the student's characteristics, especially those who are hypeactive. Furthermore, the teacher is unable to share an equal amount of attention to every student in the class. This raises a paradigm that there are some students who consider that the teacher does not pay attention to them. On top of that, the teacher needs to be more assertive since the finding reports that the advice given for those students are not affective by which some of them still disturb their friends during the class.
