Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Pengaruh status ekonomi orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SDN 12 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu variable X (Status ekonomi orangtua) dan variabel Y (motivasi belajar siswa). Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik koesioner yang berisi aspek-aspek kedua variabel tersebut. Dari data yang telah dikumpulkan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua variabel memiliki pengaruh signifikan. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh suatu persamaan regresi yaitu = 82+02X. Hal ini berarti bahwa setiap terjadi perubahan sebesar satu unit pada variabel X (status sosial ekonomi orangtua) akan berakibat terjadinya perubahan rata-rata 0.2 unit pada variabel Y (motivasi belajar siswa).
Dari hasil uji keberartian koefisien korelasi r = 199, diperoleh harga dari thitung sebesar 0.3, sedangkan dari daftar distribusi diperoleh t(0.99)(33) = 4.20. ternyata tHitung lebih kecil dari tDaftar atau harga thitung berada di daerah penerimaan HO. Dengan demikian maka dapat dikatakan bahwa HO diterima dengan koefisien korelasi sangat berarti atau diterima. Selanjutnya dari harga r = 0.441 didapat koefisien determinasi sebesar 0.02 (2%). Hal ini berarti bahwa sekitar 2% variasi yang terjadi pada variabel Y (motivasi belajar siswa) dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel X (status ekonomi orangtua) dengan persamaan regresi = 82+ 0.25X.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut di atas, maka dapat ditarik suatu kesimpulan bahwa hipotesis yang berbunyi: "Terdapat pengaruh status ekonomi oraangtua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SDN 12 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo" dapat diterima.

This study aims at fiding out extent of parents' economic status on students' motivation to learn in SDN Limboto, District of Gorontalo. This Study consists of two variables, the X variable (parents' economic status) and Y variable (students' motivation to learn). The data collection method is distribution of questionnaire on aspects of those variables. It can be concluded that both variables have significant influence. The regression formula is = 82+ 0.25X. which means that each unit increase on X variable (parents' economic status) will be followed by average of 0.2-unit in Y variable (students' motivation to learn).
From the significance test, the correlation r= 199, and tcount is 0.3, whereas from the distribution table the t(0.99)(33)= 4.20. This means that tcount is smaller than ttable or that the tcount is within the acceptance rage of Ho. Therefore, it can be said that the H o is accepted with very significant correlational coeffcient. Further, from the value of r = 0.441, the determinant coefficient obtained is 0.02 (2%). This means that that 2% of variation in Y variable (students' motivation to learn) can be described by X variable (parents' economic status) with the regression formua of = 82+ 0.25X.
Therefore, it is concuded that the hypothesis which stated, "there is an influence of parents' economic status on students' motivation to learn SDN Limboto District of Gorontalo" is accepted
