Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah "Apakah melalui model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe rotating trio exchange dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial Kelas VISDN 4 Tibawa Kabupaten Gorontalo?Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah"untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe rotating trio exchange pada pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial di Kelas VISDN 4 Tibawa Kabupaten Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VISDN 4 Tibawa Kabupaten Gorontalo yang berjumlah 24 orang siswa dengan tahapan penelitian yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, evaluasi dan refleksi. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa pada proses pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe rotating trio exchange. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dianalisis ditunjukkan dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dari 24 orang siswa yang memperoleh ketuntasan hasil belajar ada 14 orang siswa dengan presentase 58,33% dan siklus II siswa yang memperoleh ketuntasan hasil belajar ada 21 orang siswa atau 87,5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe rotating trio exchange pada pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial tentang cara menghadapi bencana alam di Kelas VISDN 4 Tibawa kabupaten gorontalo dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Problem statement of this research is whether or not students'learning achievement can be increased through application of rotating trio exchange type of cooperative learning model in social science subject at grade VI SDN 4 Tibawa, Discrit of Gorontalo? It aims at increasing students' learning achievement through rotating trio exchange type cooperative learning model in social science subject at grade VI of SDN 4 Tibawa, Dicrit of Gorontalo. This is a classroomaction research by having 24 subjects of grade VI in SDN 4 Tibawa, Gorontalo Discrit with four stagest; planning, implementation, Evaluation, and reflection. The research objects are student's learning achivement on social science subject through the application of rotating trio exchange as cooperative learning model. Finding reveals that there are only 14 out of 24 students or 58,33% in cycle I who are complete in learning which it increases to 21 students or 87,55% in cycle II. Based on finding, it can be concluded that students'learning achievement can be increased through application of rotationtrio exchange type of cooperative lerning model in social science subject at grade VI of SDN 4 Tibawa, Discrit of Gorontalo.
