Abstract
ABSTRAK Nining Ntoi. 2017. Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman melalui Teknik Scramble Susun Paragraf Siswa Kelas IV SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah "apakah dengan teknik scramble susun paragraf kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo dapat meningkat?". Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman melalui teknik scramble susun paragraf siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Sedangkan Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan observasi awal kemampuan membaca pemahaman dari 21 siswa yang mampu hanya 8 siswa (38%), dan yang belum mampu 13 siswa (61%). Pada siklus I kemampuan membaca pemahaman meningkat menjadi 12 siswa (57%). Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu menjadi 18 siswa (86%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan membaca pemahaman melalui teknik scramble susun paragraf siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo meningkat. Improving Student's Reading Skill through the Application of Scramble Technique in Paragraph Arrangement Students at class IV of SDN 4 Telaga, Gorontalo District. Sumarni Mohamad, S.Pd, M.Pd. The research promble is whether or not the application of scramble technique in paragraph arrangement can improve student's reading skill. The research aims at improving student's reading skill at class IV. The research is categorized as classroom action research. Techniques of data collection are observation, test, and documentation. Preliminary observation reveals that there are 8 students or 38% out of 21 students who are able to read whereas 13 students or 61% are not able. Then, it improves in cyle I to be 12 students or 57% who improve their reading skill and 18 students or 86% who improved their reading skill in cycle II. It can be concluded that student's reading skill has improved through the application of scramble technique in paragraph arrangement at class IV of SDN Telaga, District of Gorontalo.
