Abstract

Deladril Pade. NIM 151413059. 2017. Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Team Quiz Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Di Kelas III SDN 11 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran tipe team quiz di kelas III SDN 11 Limboto pada mata pelajaran IPS. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dengan dua siklus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, tes, dokumentasi, angket. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah minat belajar siswa pada proses pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team quiz.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa khususnya pada materi tentang jenis-jenis pekerjaan pada siklus I mencapai 61% kategori minat sedang namun belum mencapai kriteria keberhasilan. Kemudian pada siklus II terjadi kenaikan yaitu mencapai 84% kategori minat tinggi dan telah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan. Meningkatnya minat belajar siswa karena dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran team quiz, karena model team quiz merupakan model pembelajaran aktif dan menciptakan suasana kelas yang menyenangkan serta meningkatkan kemampuan tanya jawab siswa terhadap apa yang mereka pelajari.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model team quiz pada pembelajaran IPS khususnya pada materi jenis-jenis pekerjaan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di kelas III SDN 11 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo

This study aims to improve students' learning interest through the type of team quiz learning model in class III SDN 11 Limboto on IPS subjects. The type of research used in this research is the classroom action research with the subjects of the study of 34 students of class III SDN 11 Limboto with the research stage ie planning, implementation of action, evaluation and reflection. Data collection techniques through observation, tests, documentation, questionnaires. The problem in this research is "whether the use of cooperative learning model of student quiz type can increase student interest in class III 11 Limboto on social studies subject?"
Based on the results of this study indicate that in particular on the material about the types of work in the first cycle reached 61% medium category but has not reached the criteria of success. Then in the second cycle there is an increase that reaches 84% high category and has reached the criteria of success. The learning process is done by using the team quiz learning model, because the team quiz model is an active learning model and creates a pleasant classroom atmosphere and improves students' questioning ability on what they learn.
This research concludes that the application of team quiz model on IPS learning especially on the material of the types of work in class III SDN 11 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo can increase student learning interest.
