Abstract
ABSTRAK Sri Penti Abdullah. 2018. Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Mistar Hitung Terhadap Kemampuan Menentukan Hasil Penjumlahan Bilangan Bulat Pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN 18 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Permasalahan dalam penelitian adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media mistar hitung terhadap kemampuan menentukan hasil penjumlahan bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SDN 18 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Adapun tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media mistar hitung terhadap kemampuan menentukan hasil penjumlahan bilangan bulat. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Pre-Experimental design "One-Group Pretest-Posttest". Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 18 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo sebanyak 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya nilai rata-rata sebelum menggunakan media mistar hitung yaitu 40,95 dan nilai rata-rata sesudah menggunakan media mistar hitung yaitu 77,45. Setelah dilakukan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung= 18,67 dan ttabel = 2,093 dengan (db)= n-1, dan taraf signifikan 0,05. Karena thitung > ttabel maka hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media mistar hitung terhadap kemampuan menentukan hasil penjumlahan bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SDN 18 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. The problem statement is if there is an influence in the use of slide rule media on students' abilities in determining the total sum of integers at grade IV elementary of SDN 18 Limboto, Gorontalo Regency. The objective of this study is to explore the influence of slide rule media on students' abilities in determining the total sum of integers. This research employed Pre-Experimental design "One-Group Pretest-Posttest."; further, it involved 20 students of grade IV Elementary SDN 18 Limboto, Gorontalo regency as the subjects by using saturated sampling technique. The results show that the average value prior to using the slide rule media is 40.95 and the mean value after using the slide rule media is 77,45. Moreover, the hypothesis test obtains tcount = 18.67 and table = 2.093 with (db) = n-1, and significant level 0.05. Since tcount > t-table, hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this research is, that there are some influences in the use of slide rule media on students' abilities in determining the total sum of integers at grade IV elementary of SDN 18 Limboto, Gorontalo Regency.
