Abstract
ABSTRAK Daeng Mulisa, Muzdalifa 2018. Pengaruh Metode Mind Mapping Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Bangun Ruang Pada Siswa Kelas II SDN 2 Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo. Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Dra. Samsiar Rivai, S.Pd, M.Pd dan Pembimbing II Dra. Martianty Nalole, M.Pd. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah "Apakah terdapat pengaruh metode mind mapping terhadap pemahaman konsep bangun ruang pada siswa kelas II SDN 2 Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo ?". Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode mind mapping terhadap pemahaman konsep bangun ruang pada siswa kelas II SDN 2 Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimental One Group Pretest-Posttest. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan tehnik sampling jenuh. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebelum menggunakan metode mind mapping adalah 61,9 dan setelah menggunakan metode mind mapping adalah 78,9. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung = 8,88 dan ttabel = 2,06 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) = 24. Dengan demikian thitung > ttabel berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Metode Mind Mapping Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Bangun Ruang Pada Siswa Kelas II SDN 2 Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo. This research aims to elaborate the influence of mind-mapping method towards students' understanding of concept of three-dimensional shape in grade II students of SDN 2 Telaga Biru, Gorontalo regency. It is formulated based on the problem statement. The pre-experimental study employed One Group Pretest-Posttest design. 25 students were selected as the research sample by saturation sampling technique. The data were analyzed by validity test, reliability test, normality test, and hypothesis T-test. The preliminary result shows that the students' average score in the skill prior to the treatment is 61.9; it increases after the treatment of mind-mapping method to 78.9. The T-test calculation result signifies that tcount = 8.88 and ttable =2.06, with rate of significance = 0.05 and degree of freedom (df) of 24. Since tcount outnumbers ttable, it indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Hence, this study concludes that the mind-mapping method is capable of increasing students' understanding of concept of three-dimensional shape in the research site.
