Abstract
ABSTRAK Makalalag, Aditya Wirawan 2018. Pengaruh Model talking stick terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SDN 4 Tanoyan Kabupaten Bolaaang Mongondow. Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Dra. Dajani Suleman, M.Hum. dan Pembimbing II Dra. Samsiar Rivai, S.Pd, M.Pd Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah "Apakah terdapat pengaruh model talking stick terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa di kelas V SDN 4 Tanoyan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow?". Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh model talking stick terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SDN 4 Tanoyan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pre-Experimental Design dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini yaitu model talking stick dan variabel terikat pada penelitian yaitu keterampilan berbicara. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 24 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh. Uji normalitas menggunakan uji Liliefors. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model talking stick berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa yang dilihat dari pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 6,21 > 2,06 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) = 23 dan taraf signifikan 0,05. Artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Model talking stick Terhadap Keterampilan Berbicara Siswa Kelas V SDN 4 Tanoyan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow. This research aims to investigate the problem statement, i.e. whether or not the implementation talking stick model can influence fifth grade students' speaking skills in SDN 4 Tanoyan, Bolaang Mongondow regency. The pre-experimental research employed One group pretest-posttest design, which involves Talking Stick method as free variable and speaking sklls as bound variable. 24 students were selected as the sample by saturation sampling. Further, the data were analyzed by Liliefors normality test. The results shows that the Talking Stick method contributes to the students' speaking skills. As generated from the hypothesis test, it is given that tcount outnumbers ttable, i.e. 6,21 > 2,06 by degree of freedom and significant rate are 23 and 0.05 respectively. In consequence, the Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted; by which the study concludes that the Talking Stick model influences fifth grade students' speaking skills in SDN 4 Tanoyan, Bolaang Mongondow regency.
